Hey, I'm Nitin! 👋

Hey! I'm an engineer who loves to learn new things and build stuff. I get particularly excited about working at the intersection of some pretty cool math and engineering concepts - think dynamical systems, control theory, inverse problems (like figuring out what caused something from what we can observe), and neural networks that actually understand physics. These are key building blocks for what people call "AI for Science" - using AI to help us better understand and model the natural world. I'm really into structured matrices too, since they help us create faster, more efficient AI models that can run in low resource HW. In my work, I've applied these ideas to two fascinating areas: building smarter wireless systems for next-gen communications and decoding the complex language of proteins.

Currently, as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at DeepSig Inc., I'm developing low-latency AI models that tackle complex inverse problems in wireless telecommunications, pushing the boundaries of 5G and 6G networks.

My long-term vision is to develop a clinical decision system that leverages multimodal data to maintain quality healthcare in low-resource settings, combining my technical expertise with a commitment to social impact.

Beyond the code, I'm an avid explorer fascinated by urban landscapes and the stories they tell. This space serves as my digital garden where I document not just technical work, but also my adventures through cities: from hidden coffee shops and local eateries to historic neighborhoods and scenic hiking trails both within and around urban areas. Through photography (both digital and film), I capture these intersections of city life, food culture, and natural landscapes. As a non-ephemeral platform, this is where I thoughtfully curate and preserve my photographic journey - creating an enduring visual narrative of my explorations and experiences.
